Meta Launches Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full: Benchmarks, Pricing and How to Use It
Oct 13, 2026, 3:53 PM · MarkTechPost
Meta’s Muse Wonder puts a frontier agent model on a public Model API at $4/$20 per million tokens, with Wonder Full gated behind paid Muse Code plans.
Why it matters
Meta released Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, described by MarkTechPost as its most capable models yet for long-running personal and professional agents—coding, legal and finance tasks, and computer use. Muse Wonder is available on the Meta Model API and Muse Code; Muse Wonder Full is limited to paid Muse Code plans.
Meta says Wonder was trained at its Prometheus data center with gains from a larger base and reinforcement learning. The model plans long tasks, delegates to sub-agents, and can operate browsers and desktop and mobile apps. Published scores are at max reasoning effort; some rows use third-party sources, and Meta notes competitor comparisons may be best-effort.
API pricing for Muse Wonder is listed at $4 input, $0.20 cached, and $20 output per million tokens. Muse Wonder Full requires Muse Code Power ($50) or Maximum ($200) monthly plans. The API is OpenAI-compatible via api.meta.ai.
From the desk
Meta is done pretending open Llama releases alone keep it in the agent race. Muse Wonder is a hosted frontier bet with a familiar playbook: public API, coding CLI, premium “full” tier, and a score table thick with caveats.
We’re interested in the computer-use and sub-agent story more than any single SWE number. If Wonder reliably drives browsers and apps for long jobs, Meta becomes a third pole beside OpenAI and Anthropic for agent runtimes—especially for teams already inside Meta’s ads and social stack. The OpenAI-compatible surface lowers switching costs on purpose.
Trust the benchmarks carefully. Internal suites, best-effort rival runs, and harness mismatches are disclosed; that honesty helps, but it also means procurement teams should rerun tasks. Pricing at $4/$20 sits in the Opus-like band, not the Argon intro fire sale—Meta is not racing to the bottom on tokens.
Our take: Wonder is Meta declaring it will sell frontier agents, not only weights. Whether developers show up depends on tool reliability and whether Wonder Full’s paid gate feels like power or friction.
Context
Meta has been rebuilding its consumer and developer AI brand around Muse while still releasing open models. A paid frontier API is the commercial counterpart to that strategy.
Who feels it
- Agent developers
- Another OpenAI-compatible frontier endpoint with explicit computer-use ambitions.
- Meta ecosystem companies
- Tighter coupling possible between Muse agents and Meta commerce or ads surfaces.
- Open-weight users
- Reminder that Meta’s cutting edge may increasingly sit behind paid APIs.
- Competitors
- Three-way pricing and feature pressure on long-running agent products.
What to watch
- Independent computer-use and coding evals of Muse Wonder
- Whether Wonder Full’s exclusive features justify Power/Maximum pricing
- Enterprise terms, data handling, and rate limits at api.meta.ai
- Integration depth with Shopify and other Muse shopping partners
